Note: We do not process payments directly. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers.
AI Drafting Input
- Destination and date information you provide for AI-generated trip suggestions

3. Data Storage and Security
Where We Store Data
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore), with servers located in the United States. Firebase employs industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit.

- Firestore security rules restrict access to authorized users only
- Authentication via Firebase Auth with support for email/password and Google OAuth
- Regular security audits and monitoring

- Active accounts: Data retained as long as your account is active

With Trip Participants
When you invite others to collaborate on a trip, they can view and (depending on permissions) edit trip data including itinerary, activities, and expenses.
With Service Providers

- Google Maps Platform: Location services and map displays
- AI Service Provider: Trip suggestion generation
- Google Analytics: Usage analytics
We Do NOT Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Your Rights
Access and Portability: You can export your trip data at any time using the built-in export feature.
Correction: You can update your profile information and trip data directly within the app.
Deletion: You can delete individual trips or request full account deletion by contacting us.
Opt-Out: You can opt out of non-essential communications in your account settings.
6. International Users
GDPR (European Users): If you are in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
CCPA (California Users): California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.
7. Children's Privacy
WanderKit is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
